A true masterpiece

Made from solid wood from South America, each UNIQUE table is an original creation in which the pattern of the grain and the singularities of the tree's growth give rise to a veritable work of art.

To obtain a perfectly rectangular top, we have filled the hollows and cracks in the tree trunk's edge with top-quality transparent resin, revealing the warm tones of the wood. A minimalist, T-shaped, almost invisible Plexiglas base gives your table an unparalleled lightness.

A remarkable wood

We chose Samanéa Saman, also known as Rain Tree, for its aesthetic qualities and low environmental impact. This naturally invasive species grows throughout the Neotropics and is characterized by rapid renewal and growth. The mature tree can reach up to 25 m in height, with a majestic umbrella-shaped habit.

It produces an elegant, straight-grained wood, whose black-striped hues range from golden brown to chocolate. Made from irregularly shaped logs that are difficult to use for anything other than furniture and decoration, your UNIQUE table is part of a policy of upcycling and rational management of the wood industry.

100% handcrafted

Making our UNIQUE tables requires patience and know-how. We prefer trunks with natural, singular shapes.

Each section of trunk is submitted to our styling department, which determines the best surface to shape according to its size. Once it has been sanded and its interior slots hollowed out to accentuate the relief, it receives several coats of hardening varnish before being placed in a custom-made form in which the resin is poured, giving the top its definitive size.

This is why every table that leaves our workshops looks like no other, and bears a numbered, gilded metal identification plate, certifying its authenticity.

This hand-crafted, one-of-a-kind design, based on the serendipity of nature, is time-consuming and allows us to offer only very limited quantities. Only a few pieces are available for sale each year!
