Working together for our forests
Aware of environmental issues and in order to develop a more responsible CSR approach, Mobilier de France has chosen to invest in the world's 2nd largest carbon sink: the forest!
To do this, we have chosen to work with our trusted partner EcoTree, specialized in the ecological and economic enhancement of forests and the restoration of their biodiversity, in France and Europe.
We are working alongside them to contribute to the renewal of two French forests located in the Côtes-d'Armor and Sarthe regions. Over 3,000 trees will be planted and sustainably managed by local partners, and offered to our customers.
Eco Mobilier
Today, distributors and customers alike are taking an active part in preserving the environment. Introduced on May 1, 2013, the eco-tax applies to both furniture and household appliances.
Eco-Mobilier is the organization in charge of recycling and recovering furniture placed on the market. Together with the various players in this sector, it organizes the recovery stages in a virtuous process.
When you buy a piece of furniture, you contribute to collection and recycling by paying this eco-tax. This is mentioned separately on the product's selling price.

Committed to responsible purchasing, Mobilier de France contributes to CITEO, which since 2017 has brought together Ecofolio and Eco-emballages.
This organization finances and supports the collection, sorting and recycling of paper. Our catalogs, brochures and advertising mail are printed in France on PEFC-certified paper, an environmental label for sustainable forest management.
