Our concrete, sustainable actions
Aware of environmental issues and in order to develop a more responsible CSR approach, we have chosen to invest sustainably in the renewal of French forests!
We have joined forces with EcoTree to contribute to the planting of 3290 trees and the sustainable management of two forests located at Launay Guen in the Côtes-d'Armor and Ruillé in the Sarthe. In this way, we are helping to create natural carbon sinks and reduce our greenhouse gas emissions.
EcoTree in a nutshell ...
EcoTree is a trusted partner specializing in the ecological and economic enhancement of forests and the restoration of biodiversity.
They maintain forests in a sustainable way, using what is known as "close-to-nature" silviculture. Pesticide- and chemical-free, this approach reconciles quality forest production with the preservation of forest ecosystems and biodiversity.
EcoTree is also integrating a social dimension into this project, as they work on a local scale with people who are far from employment opportunities and people with disabilities.
Your tree free in store
Mobilier de France wanted to share this responsible approach with you. Starting in October, when you make a purchase in one of our stores, we'll give you* a tree in one of our forests. A certificate of ownership will be issued, and you will be able to log on to your customer area to find out more about your tree (species, age...) and the forest in which it is located.
